Description

The Sony SL-S500 was a 50/60Hz dual-frequency variant of the SL-330, otherwise identical in features and specifications. Like the SL-S400, it supported both 50Hz and 60Hz AC power at 120V. It was a budget SuperBeta mono VCR on the 711B3 chassis with a 148-channel digital tuner, BetaScan picture search, freeze-frame, and the RMT-156 wireless remote.
