Description

The Sony SL-5200 holds the distinction of being the first Hi-Fi VCR ever produced. Built on the 710 chassis with 2 heads, it introduced Beta Hi-Fi stereo audio recording to the consumer market. It supported playback and recording across all three Beta speeds (βI, βII, βIII) and featured pause/still, FF/rew search, and X2 speed playback. It came with a wireless remote (#RMT-313) and a 1-event, 3-day timer.
