Description

The JVC HR-D566U was a high-end 1985 front-loading VCR featuring JVC's DA4 (double azimuth 4) head design and VHS Hi-Fi stereo audio with MTS stereo decoder for stereo TV broadcasts. The advanced head configuration provided superior playback quality. It supported three playback speeds (SP, LP, EP) and two recording speeds (SP, EP). Features included pause/still and fast-forward/rewind search. The digital tuner supported an impressive 181 channels. A wireless remote control was included along with an 8-event 14-day programmable timer. Audio dubbing and instant record features were included.
