Description

The JVC HR-7650U was a 1982 front-loading VCR with stereo audio capability. The 4-head design supported three playback speeds (SP, LP, EP) and two recording speeds (SP, EP). Special effects included pause/still, fast-forward/rewind search, slow motion, and frame advance. The electronic tuner offered 16 pushbutton presets with expanded 105-channel capability. A wireless remote control was included along with an 8-event 14-day programmable timer. The front-loading mechanism was becoming the new standard, replacing the earlier top-loading designs. Audio dubbing and insert editing were supported.
