Description

The JVC HR-2650U was a 1982 portable VCR system with stereo audio capability, consisting of a VCR deck and separate TU-26U tuner/timer unit. The 4-head design supported three playback speeds (SP, LP, EP) and two recording speeds (SP, EP). Special effects included pause/still, fast-forward/rewind search, and frame advance. The tuner offered 14 electronic presets with expanded 105-channel capability. A wireless remote control was included along with an 8-event 14-day programmable timer. Audio dubbing and insert editing capabilities made this suitable for basic video editing tasks.
