VPORT
VPORT is a proprietary connector developed by RCA (Thomson) in 2002 for simplified connection of the Microsoft Xbox video game system to RCA CRT televisions. The VPORT jack carries Component (YPbPr) video and stereo audio through a single cable, and can also function as a second component video input when used with an adapter cable.
The connector physically resembles the Xbox AV connector, with both ends of the VPORT cable using Xbox-style AV plugs — one labeled "TV" for the television end and one unlabeled for the Xbox/source end.

Cables
Two official cables were produced by GameWare RCA:
- GP641XB — VPORT-to-Xbox cable (8 ft). Connects the Xbox directly to the VPORT jack. Includes a Digital Optical Audio (TOSLINK) breakout jack for connection to a digital audio receiver (optical cable sold separately).
- GP650XB — VPORT-to-Component RCA cable (8 ft). Converts the VPORT jack into standard component video (Y/Pb/Pr) + stereo audio RCA jacks, allowing connection of any component video source such as a DVD player or satellite receiver.
