Description

The Sony SL-HF900 was a flagship Betamax VCR from 1985. Built on the 711B2 chassis with DA-4 heads, it was one of the most feature-rich Betamax machines of its era. It supported SuperBeta playback (including βIs) and standard recording. Features included stereo Hi-Fi audio, a digital 179-channel tuner with MTS stereo, comprehensive trick play (slow motion, X2 speed), index search, audio dub, video insert editing, and jog/shuttle control. It came with a wireless remote (#RMT-125) and an 8-event, 21-day timer.
