Performance Notes

Per CRT Database: This set has excellent picture quality over component that competes favorably with more highly-rated models. It can also display oddball resolutions and refresh rates - Mortal Kombat's 400x254p at 53.6hz and R-Type's 384x256p at 55hz work without issue, making this set particularly good for arcade systems with unusual timing.

The Philips jungle chip (TDA9378) allows for 50hz and other oddball resolutions and refresh rates within a 15kHz range. However, only over component will they be in color.
