Description

The Prime Image 2X is a dual-channel professional time base corrector and frame synchronizer, providing two fully independent channels of composite and Y/C (S-Video) signal processing in a single 1U rackmount enclosure. Each channel operates as a standalone TBC/frame synchronizer, allowing two separate VCRs or video sources to be processed simultaneously from a single rack unit.

The front panel provides individual controls for each channel, including freeze, strobe, enhance, AGC, and proc amp functions. Horizontal phase and burst phase can be adjusted per channel. The dual-voltage power supply accepts both 117 V and 220 V AC, making the unit usable in North American and European installations.

The 2X is part of Prime Image's 50-series product family alongside the single-channel 50II and the composite/component/SDI-capable 50III.
