Overview

The JVC C-2526 is a 25-inch color television released in 1986, featuring a Philips A63AAM10X tube with a tinted picture tube for improved contrast and deeper black levels. It uses the FX-Mark II chassis, an improved version of JVC's FX chassis with frequency synthesizer tuning.[1]

The set includes a 112-channel frequency synthesizer tuner with direct cable reception of Mid, Sub-Mid, and Super bands. It features a wireless remote control with 10-key random-access channel selection, a multi-function 3-color on-screen display (showing channel, video mode, audio level, and timer settings), a 3-hour sleep timer adjustable in 10-minute increments, and 3-way tuning options (CHOICE preset, RETURN, and AUTO CHANNEL-UP). An AV input terminal is provided for connection to external video sources such as VCRs. Combination "rabbit ears" and loop antennas are included.[1]
