Description
The JVC AV-20FA44 is a 20-inch consumer CRT television featuring a real flat screen with INVAR Shadow Mask. Built on the FJ chassis, it offers a comprehensive feature set including component video input, S-Video input, and three AV inputs (2 rear, 1 front) with a 3-line digital comb filter for improved picture quality.
Audio features include MTS stereo with SAP, BBE High Definition Audio processing, Advanced Hyper Surround Sound, and 3W × 2 front-firing speakers. The set includes a fixed stereo audio output for connection to an external amplifier and a front headphone jack.
Additional features include Theater Status picture modes (TheaterPro, Standard, Theater, Dynamic, and Game), Black Level Expansion, Apacon picture processing, V-Chip parental controls, closed captioning with text, Hyper Scan high-speed channel changer, half-tone on-screen display, Interactive Plug-In Menu, multi-function timer, sleep timer, Channel Guard, XDS auto clock set with ID display, and Return+. The set is Energy Star compliant and comes with the RM-C1251G illuminated Super Command universal remote with DVD control capability.
Note: Progressive DVD players (with 31.5 KHz output) are not compatible with this television; the DVD player's output must be set to interlaced mode.
