Description
The Pioneer VX-50 was a SuperBeta Hi-Fi VCR manufactured by Sony and sold under the Pioneer brand. Pioneer was one of the few non-Sony companies to offer high-end Betamax equipment, leveraging its existing LaserDisc business in the Japanese home market where Beta remained strong.
