The VT-1450A was a mid-range 1986 Hitachi VHS VCR for the North American market with stereo audio and MTS broadcast stereo capability. It featured a 3-head design with SP, LP, and EP speeds, pause/still, FF/rewind search, and frame advance capabilities. The digital tuner covered 119 channels with MTS stereo reception.
