Description

The JVC HR-6700U was a 1979 VCR featuring an upgraded 4-head design for improved special effects playback. It supported both SP and EP recording speeds, extending tape capacity. Special effects included pause/still frame, fast-forward/rewind search, and variable-speed slow motion with X2 and X3 speed options. The electronic tuner offered 12 pushbutton presets for VHF/UHF channels. A wired remote control was included, along with a programmable 6-event timer with 7-day capability. The top-loading design included audio dubbing functionality.
