Description

The Panasonic PV-8600 was a 1984 portable VHS VCR system consisting of the PV-8000 VCR deck and the PV-A860 tuner/timer unit with a docking system. It featured 4 video heads for improved playback, comprehensive special effects including slow motion and frame advance, stereo audio, a digital tuner, wireless remote control, and audio dub capability. The docking system allowed easy connection of the portable VCR to the home base unit.
