Description
The JVC SR-MV30U is a unique professional combination VHS/S-VHS tape and DVD-R disc recorder designed for archiving, dubbing, and playback applications. One-button dubbing allows easy transfer of VHS or S-VHS tapes to DVD, or DVD content to tape (copy-protected material cannot be duplicated). The unit features IEEE-1394 (DV) input for digital recording from camcorders. Dual tuners enable simultaneous recording of separate program material on DVD and tape. High-quality DVD playback is provided via progressive scan output, and VHS/S-VHS tapes benefit from improved playback quality through the built-in TBC and frame synchronizer with progressive scan output. The Super MPEG Pre-Processor reduces noise in analog source signals using a Time Base Corrector, Frame Synchronizer, and Motion Active Noise Reduction algorithm. The Post-Processor applies Block Noise Reduction, Color DigiPure 3D noise reduction, and Hadamard Noise Reduction to eliminate mosquito noise. An internal memory catalogs up to 1300 DVD programs without requiring a disc. The SR-MV30U supports versatile recording and playback formats including DVD-RAM, DVD-RW (VR and Video modes), DVD-R, VCD, CD, and MP3/JPEG files on CD-R/RW media.
