Description

The Sony SL-C44 was the West German equivalent of the SL-C40, a front-loading Betamax VCR on the 711B chassis with linear stereo and Beta noise reduction. Like other 711B chassis models, it shared the slim form factor and basic mechanical design of the SL-C20/C30/C40 series, adapted for the German market with the appropriate tuner configuration.
