Description

The Sony SL-5400 was a groundbreaking machine that introduced the βIII recording speed, BetaScan search mode, 3x fast play, Express Tuning with 14 electronic presets, audio dubbing, and freeze frame. It played back all three Beta speeds but the βI playback switch was located on the rear panel. It was also the first unit to use the new Greek β Betamax logo. Retail price was $1,250.
