Description
The Sony SL-7200 was the first standalone Betamax VCR, introduced at a retail price of $1,200. It featured mechanical tuning knobs for VHF and UHF channels. Notably, it had no audio or video inputs, only outputs. The timer clock was an optional accessory sold separately as the DT-20 for $45. It used a removable RF converter that could be set for Channel 3 or Channel 4.
