Description

The RCA VPT-695HF is a top-of-the-line S-VHS Hi-Fi front-loading VCR from 1988, part of RCA's VP series. Manufactured by Hitachi, it features 3-head video, Hi-Fi stereo audio with MTS stereo decoding, and S-VHS support. Playback speeds include SP, LP, SLP with recording in SP and SLP. Special effects include FF/Rew search, frame advance, slow motion, pause/still, video dub, and digital video effects. It includes a 166-channel digital tuner, wireless remote control, and an 8-event, 1-year programmable timer. This was one of the last and most feature-rich models in the pre-Thomson RCA VCR lineup.
