Description

The JVC HR-D830U was a 1989 front-loading VCR featuring JVC's DA4 (double azimuth 4) head design and VHS Hi-Fi stereo audio with MTS stereo decoder for stereo TV broadcasts. It supported three playback speeds (SP, LP, EP) and two recording speeds (SP, EP). Features included pause/still, variable-speed fast-forward/rewind search, variable-speed slow motion, X2 speed playback in both forward and reverse, on-screen display, and index function. The digital tuner supported 181 channels. A wireless remote control was included along with an 8-event 14-day programmable timer.
