Description

The JVC HR-D230U was a 1987 front-loading VCR with a 4-head design for improved special effects and mono audio. It supported three playback speeds (SP, LP, EP) and two recording speeds (SP, EP). Features included pause/still and fast-forward/rewind search. The digital tuner supported 110 channels. A wireless remote control was included along with a 4-event 14-day programmable timer.
