Description

The Panasonic PV-9600 was a high-end 1984 portable VHS Hi-Fi VCR system consisting of the PV-9000 VCR deck and the PV-A860 tuner/timer unit with a docking system. It featured 4 video heads, comprehensive special effects including slow motion and frame advance, stereo Hi-Fi audio recording, a digital tuner, wireless remote control, and audio dub capability. The docking system allowed easy connection of the portable VCR to the home base unit.
