Description

The Sony SLV-799HF is a consumer Hi-Fi stereo VHS VCR from Sony's late-1990s/early-2000s lineup. It features a 4-head dual azimuth design for high-quality playback and recording, along with Sony's proprietary Adaptive Picture Control II which automatically adjusts playback parameters for optimal picture quality on each tape. The Reality Regenerator circuit uses edge detection to enhance playback sharpness while minimizing noise. This model includes flying erase heads for clean insert edits and VCR Plus+ Gold for simplified timer programming. The S-Link (Control S) jack allows integration with other Sony components for coordinated power and operation.
