Description
The Toshiba V-9600 was a basic front-loading Betamax VCR released at the same time as the Sanyo VTC-5000 and Sony SL-C6, but was outranked by both competitors. Internally it relied on a belt-drive mechanism and was built like a brick — heavily constructed and robust. It did have a multi-event timer, which was something its competitors didn't offer at the time. Succeeded by the V-9680.
