Description

The Sony VO-5630 is a U-matic recorder/player classified as a "Type 5" unit. It offers easy-to-use recording and playback with full multi-standard support, recording in PAL or SECAM and playing back PAL, SECAM, and NTSC 4.43 colour tapes. Automatic repeat is available to allow continuous playback looping. The VO-5630 provides 330-line monochrome and 250-line colour horizontal resolution with a video signal-to-noise ratio better than 48dB in monochrome mode and 45dB in colour. The unit features dubbing input and output via 7-pin connectors for direct Y/C signal transfer, an external sync input, and a proprietary 8-pin TV connector for combined video and audio. Audio features include manual recording level with an audio limiter, microphone and line inputs, and line, headphone, and TV audio outputs.
