Description
The Digital Processing Systems DPS-265 is a rackmount four-field universal synchronizer featuring full 6 MHz bandwidth for direct color video sources. The unit includes a built-in time base corrector with automatic mode switching, allowing seamless operation between direct color and heterodyne (color-under) sources such as camcorders and consumer VTRs.
The DPS-265 employs a digital adaptive comb filter decoder for accurate Y/C separation while maintaining maximum signal transparency. This makes it suitable for both TBC and frame synchronizer applications in broadcast, cable, and post-production facilities.
Front panel controls provide access to proc amp functions with 10 presettable memories for storing and recalling configurations. The unit supports RS-232 and RS-422 serial remote control protocols.
The DPS-265 is compatible with the RC-265 dedicated remote control panel as well as the RC-2001 multi-channel remote control system, which can be daisy-chained for distributed control of multiple DPS products.
