Description
The FOR-A FA-30 is a transcoding TBC introduced in October 1993 as an enhanced successor to the FA-20/20P. The unit features a full array of I/O interfaces for composite, Y/C (S-Video), RGB, and color-difference (component) signals, and enables transcoding between these formats.
The FA-30's comprehensive interface options made it ideal for facilities working with multiple video formats, allowing conversion between composite, Y/C, RGB, and component signals while simultaneously providing time base correction and frame synchronization.
This model was available as a modular card for integration into FOR-A's frame systems.
Variants
| Model | Description |
|---|---|
| FA-30 | NTSC version / modular card |
| FA-30P | PAL version / modular card |
