Description
The General VG-240A was a rebranded Toshiba Betamax VCR sold under the General brand name. General-branded machines were electrically identical to their Toshiba counterparts (likely the V-31 or V-33) but featured a recast plastic front panel giving the General models a distinctive look. Like the Toshiba originals, it featured automatic sensing of video input to switch from tuner to AV mode.
