Description

The Panasonic PV-1770 is a rare Omnivision top-loading VHS VCR manufactured from 1981 to 1983. Notable for having a wireless remote control — unusual for a top-loading VCR in 1981 — it features a 14-day, 6-hour programmable timer, slow motion with 2x speed and variable-speed forward and backward slow motion, audio dub capability, and a dew indicator that mechanically shuts down the unit if moisture is detected. Supports all three recording/playback speeds (SP, LP, EP).
