Description
The FOR-A FA-820 is a frame synchronizer and TBC introduced in January 1998, developed as the industry shifted from analog to digital workflows. The unit was designed to meet the needs of facilities requiring a FS/TBC unit supporting both analog and digital component I/O.
The FA-820 bridged the analog-to-digital transition by offering a full complement of video interfaces including composite, Y/C (S-Video), analog component, and digital component (SD-SDI). It also featured color correction capabilities, making it a versatile signal processing solution for professional video applications.
Variants
| Model | Description |
|---|---|
| FA-820 | NTSC version |
| FA-820P | PAL version |
| FA-830/830P | Added noise reduction to FA-820 feature set |
