Description

The JVC HR-D142U was a 1985 front-loading VCR similar to the HR-D140U, with a 4-head design and mono audio. It supported three playback speeds (SP, LP, EP) and two recording speeds (SP, EP). Features included pause/still and fast-forward/rewind search. The electronic tuner offered 12 presets with 105-channel capability. A wireless remote control was included along with a 1-event 14-day programmable timer. The instant record feature allowed quick recording without programming.
