Description

The JVC SR-MV45US is a professional-grade combo deck combining a DVD-R recorder and S-VHS VCR in a single unit, designed for dubbing, archiving, and specialized playback applications in educational institutions and professional environments. The simultaneous recording function allows programs to be recorded on both DVD and VCR decks from the same input source, making it ideal for transitioning tape libraries to DVD media. Auto full repeat discs can be created for digital signage and kiosk applications. The remote control code input terminal (3.5mm miniplug) allows wired remote control from a distance with expanded control commands including transport control, direct input selection, playlist/title direct select, direct playback speed control, and simultaneous recording control. The i.Link (IEEE 1394) connection supports DV input from camcorders and NLE systems with real-time MPEG-2 signal conversion for DVD and analog video signal conversion for VHS. Super MPEG processors provide enhanced quality for DVD authoring. The SR-MV45US is the lower-cost sibling of the SR-MV55US, lacking the RS-232C and BNC video output but retaining full remote control capabilities via the wired remote terminal.
