Description

The Sony SL-390 was a low-end SuperBeta monaural VCR from 1989, built on the 711B3 chassis. It was another budget-friendly SuperBeta model with a 7-day, 1-event timer. It featured a color switch to increase color intensity during tape playback, a 148-channel digital tuner with 14 presets, BetaScan picture search, freeze-frame, and the RMT-156 wireless infrared remote. It supported SuperBeta recording in βII and βIII with playback of βI, βIs, βII, and βIII.
