Description

The Sony SL-HF1000 was the ultimate consumer Betamax VCR of 1986, representing the pinnacle of the format. Built on the 711B2 chassis with DA-4 heads and a flying erase head, it could record and play back in all Beta speeds including βI, βIs, and βISHB. It featured stereo Hi-Fi audio, a digital 179-channel tuner with MTS stereo, comprehensive trick play, and professional editing features including video insert, audio dub, jog/shuttle control, and a frame digit counter. It came with a wireless remote (#RMT-148) and an 8-event, 21-day timer.
