The NEC MultiSync 3FGe is a 15-inch multisync CRT computer monitor, model number JC-1532VMA-2, from NEC's FG family. It carries a 0.28 mm dot-pitch shadow-mask tube (NEC part M36KME20X) with 90-degree deflection and about 14 inches of viewable diagonal.[1]

Its scan range of 28–50 kHz horizontal and 48–94 Hz vertical places it as an SVGA-class display, intended for 800 × 600 with XGA modes supported at reduced refresh rates.[1] Video is fed over a standard analog VGA connector with separate horizontal and vertical sync.[1]

Unusually for a PC monitor of its generation, the 3FGe uses a glossy tube face with no anti-glare etching, which gives it a noticeably brighter, higher-contrast image than contemporaries.[1] Degaussing runs automatically at power-on and can also be triggered manually.[1]
