Description

The JVC SR-HD1700US is a professional Blu-ray Disc and HDD combo deck that allows users to create standard Blu-ray high-definition discs or DVDs directly from live video input or stored files. Live input is provided through A/V connectors (SD) or IEEE-1394 interface (SD/HD) and can be recorded directly to Blu-ray or DVD, or to the internal 500GB hard disk drive for later authoring and burning. The unit supports JVC ProHD camera files (MOV/MXF up to 35Mbps) via USB 2.0 or SDHC/SDXC memory cards. With its LAN connector, the SR-HD1700US can receive files from popular non-linear editing systems via FTP and burn them to disc. Multiple copies of Blu-ray or DVD discs can be created using the built-in duplication function. The SR-HD1700US adds RS-232C and LAN control capabilities over its lower-cost sibling, the SR-HD1350US.
