The Bang & Olufsen BeoVision MX 4000 is a CRT television built around a 55 cm picture tube with a 51 cm visible picture, the smallest television in Bang & Olufsen's range through the late 1990s, produced in successive versions from 1992 until 2003.[1] Depending on version it used a Black Line picture tube with Black Matrix or a Hi-Bri tube behind a contrast screen, with A2 + NICAM stereo decoding, FLOF teletext and Log Line full-range speakers driven at 2 × 40 W into 8 ohms.[1] Designed by David Lewis, it offers 21-pin AV (SCART) sockets — two on later versions — plus a 4-pin Super VHS Y/C playback input and Power Link connections for external active speakers, with PAL, SECAM and NTSC support depending on market version.[1]
