The Beovision MX 3000 is a colour CRT television produced by Bang & Olufsen from 1988 to 1990 as a slightly larger replacement for the Beovision MX 2000.[1][2] It uses a 55 cm full-square, black-matrix in-line picture tube (51 cm visible picture) behind a bonded contrast screen, and its Log Line stereo speaker system delivers 2 × 15 W RMS with a built-in A2 stereo decoder and optional NICAM.[1] The digital tuner covers VHF, S, Hyper and UHF channels (45–855 MHz) over 32 programme numbers, with five-language Teletext, preparation for the BeoSat RX satellite receiver, and control from the Beolink 1000 terminal.[1] Connections comprise a 21-pin AV Link socket, a 7-pin Audio Aux Link, a stereo headphone jack and terminals for external 8 Ω speakers.[1] Type numbers 3140–3148 identify the market variants, which include Europe, Great Britain (NICAM), Italy and Australia.[2]
