Apple Studio Display is a name Apple used for several monitors from 1998 onward; the CRT version is a 17-inch (16.0-inch viewable) Diamondtron computer monitor with a 0.25 mm aperture-grille pitch.[1] The first CRT model, in Blueberry trim, was introduced on January 5, 1999 at US$499 with a VGA (mini D-Sub) connector and supported resolutions from 640×480 at up to 85 Hz to 1600×1200 at up to 60 Hz; it was discontinued on August 31, 1999.[1] Later CRT revisions include a Graphite-colored version and a model that uses the Apple Display Connector (ADC) in place of VGA.[2][3]
