The Advent Q1435A is a 14-inch flat-screen stereo colour television sold in the United States from 2003 under the Advent brand; it was manufactured by Prima of China and originally retailed for US$159.[1] The set uses a Toshiba A36LXE190X02 slot-mask picture tube.[1]
It runs on 120 V 60 Hz AC with a rated power consumption of 60 W, measures 17.2 × 13.4 × 15 inches (W × H × D) and weighs 12 kg (27 lb).[2] The NTSC-M tuner receives VHF channels 2–13, UHF 14–69 and CATV channels (181 in total), while the AV inputs accept NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43 and PAL 4.43 signals.[2] Audio output is 2.5 W per channel into the front-firing stereo speakers.[2] Rear connections comprise a composite AV1 input, an S-Video input that shares AV1's audio jacks, and a YPbPr component input labelled DVD; a second composite input (AV2) and an earphone jack sit on a side panel.[2]
