The Bang & Olufsen BeoVision Avant 32 is a 32-inch 16:9 widescreen CRT television produced from 1995 to 2006 and designed by David Lewis.[1] It is a fully integrated video system: a widescreen Real Flat picture tube (106° in-line, with an anti-reflection coated contrast screen and 73 cm visible picture) combined with a built-in hi-fi stereo VCR — replaced by a DVD player in later "Avant 32 DVD" versions — and four built-in active speaker modules rated at 39 W each.[1] The set sits on a remote-operated motorised stand that rotates ±35° with two memory positions; the VCR version measures 84 × 108 × 61 cm, weighs 80 kg, and has a typical power consumption of 115 W.[1] Rear connections include two 21-pin AV/decoder sockets and S-VHS sockets, plus Beolink connections.[1]
