Description

The Panasonic DMR-E80 is a consumer DVD recorder released in 2003. It contains a Panasonic MN673744 video processing IC with integrated frame synchronization capabilities.[1][2]

Like other models in the Panasonic DMR series, the DMR-E80's frame synchronizer provides passthrough TBC capability that can be used for analog video digitization, though it has not been formally tested or tiered for this purpose relative to later models like the Panasonic DMR-ES10.

Variants include the DMR-E80, DMR-E80HP, and DMR-E80HPC.
