Overview

The JVC AV-2080S is a 20-inch stereo color monitor/receiver manufactured by JVC in 1990, part of JVC's consumer S-Video television lineup. It uses a Hitachi A51JPE90X FST (Flat Square Tube), providing improved geometry and reduced edge distortion compared to conventional curved tubes. The set features composite video and S-Video inputs, making it an early adopter of Y/C separated video in consumer televisions.
