Overview
The JVC TM-2799SU is a 27-inch color monitor/receiver featuring a Full-Square (FS) CRT with a dark tint tube.[1] It is the larger sibling of the JVC TM-2099U, adding a Y/C (S-Video) input alongside the composite BNC and RF connections.
The monitor includes a 180-channel frequency synthesizer tuner, MTS stereo sound with dBx noise reduction, a video input memory function, a multilingual on-screen menu, and a built-in closed caption decoder with text mode. Audio output is 1.2W per channel through two front-firing speakers.[2] The unit is UL listed.[2]
