Description
The FOR-A FA-300 is a digital time base corrector introduced in March 1987. It was a predecessor to the highly successful FA-310 series, which would go on to sell over 13,000 units.
The FA-300 provided digital time base correction and frame synchronization capabilities for professional video applications. It processed composite video signals and included proc amp controls for video level adjustment.
The FA-300 was part of FOR-A's expanding line of FA series signal processors, which evolved during the late 1980s to include frame synchronization, clip memory, signal processing, and transcoding capabilities. This work distinguished FOR-A as a leader in the TBC market.
