ATSC 3.0 (also marketed as NextGen TV) is the next-generation digital television standard in North America, succeeding the original ATSC standard. It began deployment in the United States in 2020.

Relevance to CRT televisions
ATSC 3.0 was deployed after CRT television production had ended. No CRT televisions were manufactured with built-in ATSC 3.0 tuners. However, external ATSC 3.0 tuner boxes can output to CRTs via composite, S-Video, or component video connections.
