Description

The JVC AV-36D303 is a 36" color television manufactured by JVC in 2002. Part of the D-Series lineup, this large-screen model uses the GE3 chassis with silver-colored bezel styling. The D303 models represent the later, cost-reduced D-Series revision.

Technical Details

The AV-36D303 features a 3-line digital comb filter for improved composite and S-Video quality. The GE3 chassis uses a Toshiba jungle IC. Unlike earlier D-Series models, the GE3 chassis cannot be RGB modded, but the component video inputs provide near-RGB quality.

Notes

  • Late D303/Dx03 models may exhibit "red push" - see related models for service menu fixes
  • The GE3 chassis lacks E/W circuit, resulting in some barrel distortion that cannot be corrected
