Description
The JVC TV-20240 is a 20-inch CRT television with a built-in 4-head mono VCR in a metallic silver cabinet. It features a dark tint CRT, Black Level Expansion with Apacon picture processing, MTS stereo (TV) with dBx and SAP, JVC's Super Command universal remote control with TV/VCR/Cable buttons, and on-screen display menus in English/French/Spanish. Audio is delivered through front-firing side speakers at 1.2W × 2.
The VCR section features mono sound, VCR Plus+ with SQPB playback, auto SP-to-EP mode, semi-automatic clock set, EZ Ject tape loading, auto tracking, auto repeat, auto rewind, skip search, index search, and a 1-month/6-event timer.
The unit includes a front AV input, a front headphone jack, Video Status presets (Standard/Game/Cinema), a multi-function timer, sleep timer, Channel Guard, closed captioning with text, and is Energy Star compliant.
The TV-20240 was part of JVC's 20-inch lineup alongside the JVC AV-20020 and JVC AV-20021 stereo models and the JVC C-20010 mono model.
