ATSC
ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) is the digital television standard used in North America, South Korea, and parts of Central America and the Caribbean. It replaced analog NTSC-M broadcasts in the United States on June 12, 2009.

CRT televisions with ATSC tuners
Many late-era CRT televisions (approximately 2004–2008) included built-in ATSC tuners to receive over-the-air digital broadcasts. These sets often also supported digital cable via QAM tuning and featured component video or HDMI inputs capable of displaying HD resolutions.
